Once you have the REMS 17mm bending former and back former with your bender, accurate pipe bending becomes easy and efficient. An angle scale is provided on the bending former and a mark is provided on the back former to provide you with even greater accuracy. The bending former is made from ductile iron and the back former is made from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide for enhanced durability.
The 17mm bending and back former works with the REMS Sinus, Curvo, Akku-Curvo, and Curvo 50 benders on coated, soft carbon steel pipes of pressfitting systems EN 10305-3 and on multi-layer composite tubes of pressfitting systems.
