Chamfering

REMS® chamfering tools are ideal for creating clean 15° cuts on commonly used plastic pipes. Our chamfering tools are also suited for deburring plastic pipes to ensure easy joining of the sleeves that are to be welded. Easily adjusted for pipe diameter and wall thickness, REMS® chamfering tools are very easy and fast to operate, and chamfering is easily accomplished thanks to efficient blade geometry. They are made in high-grade, glass-fibre reinforced polyamide, while the blades are replaceable, giving you more service life out of the same chamfering tool for years.

REMS® chamfering tools can help prevent sharper corners and edges from becoming hazardous issues. Chamfering tools allow you to put the finishing touches after you have made your cuts, giving the material a more refined look while smoothing away those potentially harmful, jagged edges. By chamfering the pipe, you help strengthen the material by preventing the torn, jagged edges from growing, breaking, and tearing away from the edge. Our REMS® chamfer tools can also be used for deburring plastic sleeves for welding purposes, so you get more use out of the same tool.

Electric Saws

REMS® electric saws are ideal for pressfitting systems and perfect for making precise, clean, right-angled cuts through tough pipe according to requirements. REMS® designed their electric saws to be chip-free, meaning no chips end up in the piping system following cutting, keeping your work environment clean and hassle-free. When using an electric saw, no outer burr is produced and there’s no damage done to O-rings from outer burrs. Further, thanks to the dry-cutting design, there’s no damage to O-rings from cooling lubricants either! Our REMS® electric saws are fast, thus preventing degradation of the pipe material through overheating. Convenient and quick, you can rely on our electric saws for years.

The REMS® Turbo Cu-INOX is a strong circular pipe sawing machine. These saws work great on stainless steel pipes, carbon steel pipes, and copper pipes of the press fitting systems. For front-wall installation, they can be used for cutting thin-walled sections. The REMS® Turbo K is a universal circular metal sawing machine that features an automatic cooling lubricant unit. One of the most powerful saws in its class, the Turbo K is excellent for installation, metal working, and industry applications. These electric saws are compact, lightweight, and small enough to be easily portable, allowing you to bring them to the jobsite or your workshop.

Hinged Cutters

ANC provides you with high-quality Reed® hinged cutters for smooth, accurate pipe cuts. Featuring four strong wheels, our hinged cutters can cut through steel, stainless steel, and cast and ductile iron with only 90° to 110° handle swing with only a 4” (125 mm) clearance required around pipe. Strong guide fingers ensure perfect wheel alignment for square cuts, while a closed 360° frame on the cutter forces all energy into cutting the pipe for maximum strength and efficiency. Reed® hinged cutters don’t produce any shower of sparks in the cold cut, and they are the only hinged cutters that track every time, and the only ones recommended for ductile iron, steel, and stainless steel to Schedule 100.

To operate the hinged cutter, first open the lower yoke by depressing the latch and place the cutter onto the pipe. Close the lower yoke and tighten the cutter to bring the lower wheels in contact with the pipe by turning the crank. Continue the cutting process by rocking the cutter back and forth 90° to 110°. Continue cutting while maintaining as much pressure on the cutting wheels as possible.

ANC Distribution offers high-quality REMS® ROS pipe shears that quickly and easily slice through plastic pipes, multi-layer composite tubes, and thin-walled pipes. With a sturdy aluminum design, the pipe shears have plenty of strength for making clean cuts while remaining lightweight and easy for single-hand operation and effortless with a power transmitting feed. The specially hardened blade is replaceable, meaning you get more mileage out of a single set of pipe shears. A quick reverse feature saves time and effort, while the cuts themselves are chipless and leave no debris remaining in the pipe.

We offer a selection of high-performance REMS® pipe shears, including both lightweight, strong manual models, as well as electric pipe shears for stronger, more efficient cuts. We offer tubing cutters that are ideal for cutting copper tubes, thin-walled stainless steel tubes, thin-walled steel, aluminum, and brass tubes, as well as quick adjustment tubing cutters and compact versions that are specially designed for copper tubes. Some of these cutters feature needle-bearing cutting wheels and needle-bearing counter-pressure rollers for even smoother cutting. Reed® pipe cutters with guides feature strong, malleable iron frames. They use the thinnest cutter wheels made of high-quality tool steel to make cutting easier and faster. These sharper cutter wheels allow shorter handles for work in smaller spaces, and the cutters leave no burr, which is great for threading jobs.

Plastic Pipe Cutters

Featuring a quick adjustment design as well as a sturdy, long spindle guidance, you can make efficient, precise cuts with REMS® plastic pipe cutters. Our pipe cutters are specially designed to be lightweight but strong, with an emphasis on usability and efficiency.
