The Eco Sac® water bladder tank is the preferred water bladder solution of architects, designers, and hydraulic engineers – and it could be the very best under-house and under-deck water storage solution for you because:

  • It stores more water per square metre than any other bladder tank, so you can be confident you have the most amount of water storage.
  • It has the largest range of standard sizes available in the market. And if a standard size won't fit in your home or premises, we will make a custom size for you (we don't even charge a premium for custom made bladder tanks!)
  • It gives you "peace of mind" because you know your bladder tank water storage solution is contained within a steel frame and harness, ensuring it will not move or touch any part of your home or business.
  • The Eco Sac® material is independently tested and accredited to the Australian drinking water standard (AS/NZS 4020).
  • All pipe work into and from your bladder tank is fixed and secured in place by a unique steel mounting plate attached to the frame, so there is no risk of the weight of the water cracking your pipes.

Why is eco sac® better than other water bladder tanks?

The market leading Eco Sac® bladder tank is the only framed bladder tank available in New Zealand. The design of the Eco Sac® bladder tank is widely recognised as the best bladder tank solution because:

  • The steel frame ensures that it will not move. The bladder tank holds 1,000 litres of water or 1 tonne, so it’s imperative you have a bladder tank that doesn’t touch any part of your home or building structure!
  • The steel mounting plate fixes the pipe location and removes any stress from the pipes. It is critical that rigid pipes connected to bladder tanks are not put under any stress.
  • The one-piece geo textile harness protects and holds the bladder tank within the steel frame and helps to maximise capacity as the bladder fills into the shape of the harness.
  • The side entry fittings (inlet and outlets) are standard plumbing fittings that plumbers "connect to" every day and that comply with the plumbing standard (AS3500).
  • The connections are all permanently accessible for on-going maintenance.
  • The Eco Sac® inlet is a market leading 100mm. standard overpipe fitting ensuring the maximum amount of rainwater is delivered to your bladder tank without the risk of water backing up your downpipes, which can happen if you have a tank with a 50mm. inlet.
  • The Eco Sac® air vent is the largest standard air vent in the market to allow air to escape when water flowing through downpipes pushes air into the bladder. Large air vents are critical to ensure that bladder tanks are not put under pressure.
  • All welds are overlapped and corners are folded for maximum strength.
  • There is no issue of sediment being regurgitated through the tank as can happen in bladder tanks where the inlet is underneath the bladder.
  • Each and every Eco Sac® bladder tank is tested before it leaves the factory and is assigned a unique serial number for warranty tracking.
