Ideal for general purpose metal grinding, such as on soft carbon steels, this grinding wheel has been manufactured with high-quality materials and components for long-lasting performance. An aluminum oxide grain permits consistent, quality grinding, while the depressed centre wheel design—or raised hub wheel design—allows the flange/lock nut to be used for a variety of grinding applications since it can recess within the wheel. Depressed centre wheels are designed to handle the most severe right-angle grinding applications, from heavy stock removal to rough blending.
