With a unique support bracket, the REMS Amigo 2 provides quality power, efficiency, and easy operation for hand threading pipes and tubes. This machine can be used anywhere at the jobsite or workshop for repair and renovation without the need for a vice thanks to its highly portable design, while its compact build makes it ideal for working in confined areas. The Amigo 2 is more than capable of producing 16mm-50mm pipe threads and 6mm-30mm bolt threads with minimal effort.

Designed to support the die stock against torque in both directions, the solid support bracket features an angular clamping spindle with a self-supporting effect for maximum support and ease. With the ability to quickly change die heads thanks to its perfect die seating, this threader makes mounting the die stock onto the support bracket and pipe simple and fast.

The Amigo 2 is powered by a durable and robust 1700W universal motor, which allows it to operate at a fast threading time of 30 rpm to 18 rpm. A 30% power increase is achieved via an automatic carbon brush adjustment while changing the direction of the rotation. This threader uses only one type of dies and only one type of quick-change die head, so it offers easier and more efficient stocking.
