Engineered with high strength, the REMS Cropping Tongs Mini M10 easily and cleanly slice through steel and stainless-steel up to hardness classification 4.8 (400 N/mm2). They can also be used to cut through threaded rods, which can then be screwed into a threaded connection of the pipe clip or the nut without rework. These tongs are built from high-quality forged and specially hardened steel for superior durability, and they even feature reversible cropping inserts for double the service life. Machined on CNC machining centres, the M cropping inserts with high-precision thread contours provide exact guidance to the threaded rod in the cutting process. The pliers parts, cropping inserts, and cutting edges are all made to exactly fit so that you can cut without burring. The cropping tongs can be driven by REMS Mini-Press ACC, Mini-Press 22V ACC, and Mini-Press S 22V ACC.
