Featuring radio signal transmission for low cost inspection and damage analysis of places that have difficult access, such as cavities, shafts, pipes, etc., the REMS Camscope Set 9-1 is a mobile, handy endoscope camera for some of the most troublesome pipeline inspections. Able to capture clear pictures and video, this camera can even store documentation of photos and videos on the camera’s MicroSD card for easier inspection of the result. This camera is lightweight, making it simple and easy to use freehand, overhead, or anywhere it’s needed.

The CamScope features a handy on/off thumbwheel switch for continuous brightness control of the LEDs in the camera head. For optimum setting of the brightness and automatic picture focus, the camera cable set color consists of color camera Ø 9mm, 640 x 480 pixels, with a CMOS sensor with dimmable white light LEDs and a fixed focus function, while the camera cable set itself is protected against occasional immersion in water (IP 67). The system uses a formable 1m push cable that’s flexible enough for inspecting small pipe bends and narrow places such as odor traps, bore holes, and breakthroughs.

The power LED indicator makes it quick and easy to determine the camera’s operating state, while four commercially available 1.5V AA, LR6 batteries located in a practical, removable batter holder provide high-density energy for about two hours of continuous operation with a voltage supply of 100—240V, 50—60 Hz, 9W. There is no memory effect for maximum batter performance. The CamScope can also be used with various camera cable sets with plug-screw connections for changing the camera cable sets and the push cable extensions without tools.
